Scleroderma is a rare autoimmune disease which can cause fibrosis (hardening) of the skin and/or internal organs. Other symptoms include Raynaud's, difficulty swallowing, heartburn, constipation, fatigue, and pulmonary fibrosis. Its common for Scleroderma patients to also have Sjogren's Syndrome (dryness of mucous membranes such as eyes and mouth) and other autoimmune diseases such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.
